"'Spirits walk the Earth'... The hell?" Ranma mused, as he rubbed his eyes to rid it of the blurriness.

As he regained his optical senses, Ranma realized that:

• that it was someone's birthday... again.
• that someone else was in the bed... again.
• it was time for school... then again, that happens about five times a week, so its not all that surprising.
• something important was going to happen today... again... kinda...
• he wasn't where he went to sleep! Again!
• something else... again.
