Man, I'm no good at this. Bad enough I'm...uhm...how far back in the past am I, anyway? Shoulda listened closer in history. Oh well...Still, I kinda wish I could ask someone what to do...but I can't ask the others, they'll think I'm nuts...and I'm way back before anyone I know was born... She blinked again, a slow smile beginning to form. I remember something...Kagome can go back and forth...Hey! I can ask her to carry a message to Akane, or the ol' ghoul!
Shippo hopped lightly up onto her shoulder, waving a hand in front of Ranma's face. "Oi! Sango? You okay?" the little youkai asked worriedly, and Ranma looked at him, her eyes widening. The part of her that was Sango was simply fond of the little boy, but Ranma was still honestly startled by the innocent, open concern on the fox kit's face. Kinda nice to have someone worry without havin' to wonder what the heck they're thinkin'...Even if they don't know who I am. she mused, and nodded to him.
"I'm okay, Shippo." she agreed, and Shippo smiled happily.
"So we can get going?" he asked curiously, seating himself on her shoulder, steadying himself by holding onto her hair. "You know, you need to spend less time with Inu-Yasha and Miroku. You're starting to talk like a boy."
Ranma rolled her eyes and opened her mouth, but a sudden thought derailed her response. Might as well play along 'til I can go home, or we figure this thing out...Inu-Yasha might be interesting to train with...Maybe I can pick up some new tricks? "I'll try and work on that, Shippo-chan." she responded dryly. "Lets go back."
"Okay!" Shippo beamed, swishing his tail. Sango didn't seem too cranky. Maybe Miroku and Inu-Yasha were trying to scare him with all the talk of the frightening 'Time of the month'.
