"Hey Ranma, can't fight without us?" an elf said and slapped Ranma on the back.
Ranma chuckled a bit and looked around.
"Where's Lou, Rico," he asked the elf.
Before the elf could answer a growling came from the transport and a rather large sabertoohed tiger, the mascot of the Roughnecks. Ranma smiled and went up to the tiger to pet it.

While Ranma and the Rouhnecks started to talk, the Senshi turned to Setsuna, who still was in her hybrid form.
"What's about this 'Ranma'?" Haruka asked and glared at Ranma and the Roughnecks," I don't see any rank-markings on that uniform of his."
Sestuna chuckled a bit as she saw that Ranma had transformed into his own hybrid form and started to wrestle with Lou.
"Well, Ranma is an AEGIS-Guardian. They were for the Republic, what the Senshi were for the Silver Millennium. But rather than being some kind of magical warriors, the AEGIS-Guardians are fighters who don't need a magical power-up. Most of them were former soldiers in the Republican Army or Navy."
She pointed at the Roughnecks.
"What do you think why he had requested the Roughnecks?"
Seeing the other Senshi shrug she continued with her explanation.
"He was a Roughneck for five years. He wasn't the most powerful of the AEGIS-Guardians, but he always finished what he started."
"And the 'Dreadnaught'?" Amy asked.
"Well, Ranma sort of adoped the ship as his personal ship. The captain of her is a good friend of him. Not to mention that the ship has fallen in love with him."
The other Senshi stared and Setsuna chuckled.
"Well, I told you that the 'Dreadnaught' is inhabited by the soul of her designer."

One of the Roughnecks, a relative small female were-cheeta had looked around on the shrine ground, when Rico went up to her. At the moment she was looking at three newcomers, one of them another were-cheeta that openly stared at her.
"Why are they staring at me like that?" she asked Rico.
"I don't know, Dizzy," Rico said with a shrug," Maybe they like small cheetas. You never know."
Dizzy answered with her ellbow into Rico's side.
