He tapped a sensor on his multi-bracer and a few moments later a face appeared on the screen. It was the same face that had shown on the screen earlier.
"Sir," the man said.
"Captain Ryan, I want a squad of Marines down here. Get me the 'Roughnecks'. We got a youma problem here."
The man nodded.
"Anything else, sir?"
"That's all at the moment."
"Good, sir."
Setsuna sighed. She was now in her new hybrid-form and scratched the base of her tail.
"This takes some time getting used to."
--------------------------------------
Up in orbit a military transport left the 'Dreadnaught' and ascended towards the atmosphere of earth. The transport looked very much like something out of 'Starship Troopers'. A few moments later three small fighters pulled up to the transport as it entered the atmosphere. The fighters looked like they came straight out of the computer-game 'X2'. Two were looking like M4 Busters and one like a M3 Nova.
Since the transports and the three fighters lacked the cloaking their mother ship had, they were clearly visible as they pulled down over Tokyo and made their touchdown on the shrine-ground.
They were awaited by Ranma and the Senshi. As the 'Roughnecks' left the transport, a mixed team of weres, dwarfs, normal humans and other beings, they never noticed the strange car that stopped in front of the shrine.
The squad-leader of the 'Roughnecks' moved up to Ranma. He was an older werewolf with a rank of a lieutenant and an artificial left arm. Ranma smiled a bit. The Lieutenant was one of the only people he would like to have introduced to the AEGIS-guardians, but he was too old.
"Lieutenant Razak reporting for duty, Sir."
Ranma smiled.
