He already had the monster he needed to get the energy. Like most of the youma, she was female, but that did not matter. She was fast, viscious, and capable of turning parts of her body into blades. That was enough, and he knew that she would do the job easily enough.
And he had enough faceless minions to make his job easier, as they could run interference long enough for his monster to take care of business, if there was anyone stupid enough to try to get in their way.
His only problem was that he had to figure out how to do this, as he knew that they would need to do it correctly in order to revive Metallia-sama.
But he was nothing if not a plan maker, and he came up with an idea quickly enough.
"Come along," he told the monster, "We have work to do."
"Where are we going?" she asked.
He snorted. "It's simple. We're going to:
