Princess Leia looked at the techs working on the two boxes and shook her head.
"Luke, you were right about something being in the Yavin system. Now, we have to figure out what they are."
Luke nodded. "I know. I had a dream that Ben told me something was there, but..."
Whatever was going to be said was halted as a tech came into the breifing room. He shook his head as he looked at his data pad.
Princess Leia asked, "What have you found out, Jevo."
Jevo sighed heavily. "Those boxes are hyperdrives, but yet they aren't."
Han snorted, "That's clear."
Jervo shook his head. "They don't work like normal hyperdrive engines. From what we have been able to figure out, they create temporary warp points and allow the ship that used them to move from place to place almost instantly. They fold space."
Han gazed at the boxes with respect and whistled lowly. "What I wouldn't give to have something like that on the Falcon. Are they Empire make?"
Jervo threw his hands up in disgust. "They are of no make. No culture or planet could make something like this now. They do not corespond with any known technology. I have no idea where they came from."
Luke quietly said, "From another galaxy. Those engines are from some other galaxy."
Jervo gritted his teeth. "In abscence of any data to the contrary, I'd say you are right. Now comes the question of 'How did something from another galazy wind up in the Yavin system?'."
Luke gazed at the engines heavily. "The Death Star. They must have been in transport when the Death Star blew up. Somehow the massive energies in the Death Star's destruction somehow interacted with these engines."
Jervo said, "I don't know. I do know that we now have a new advantage for the Rebelion. There is something else. After studying the engines and the Yavin system, we have found some sort of space anomoly. Best guess is a permanent warp point from wherever these thigs came from. However, the other side of the point seems to be in heavy flux. Until it settles down, I feel reluctant in sending anything through it."
Leia nodded. "Thank you. See what we can do to make use of the engines for the Rebelion."
Jervo bowed and left.
Looking at the engines, Luke muttered, "What now?"

On board the SDF-1, Anakin was having dreams.
"Annie? Annie?"
Looking around the dreamscape, the former Sith Lord frowned to himself. 'Only one person has ever called me 'Annie'. Qui-Gon?'
Anakin turned to the direction the voice came from and saw the almost forgotten Jedi.
"Qui Gon Jinn," Anakin whispered. "But...."
Qui Gonn tilted his head upwards and smiled sadly. "That I was gone and could not talk to you? No. I see what you are intending to do with Rick Hunter. Under the Jedi Code, that would be wrong."
Anakin turned away and snarled. "The Jedi Code? A code that takes children from their parents."
Qui-Gonn held up a hand and said, "I know. The Code had mutated into something that was wrong for followers of the Force. You have seen both extremes and are trying to find a balanced way. To bring balance to the Force."
Anakin turned back to Qui-Gonn. "I thought you were saying I was...."
Qui Gonn interupted. "No. I said under the Jedi Code that would be wrong. I myself bucked the Code as often as I could. Good luck to you, Annie. I wish you all the best in teaching your new Force philosphies. I do have a bit of advice for you though. In its own way the culture you have stumbled on is more advanced in certain areas. Pick up what you can on what they call psycology. Something about repression."
Anakin woke from the dream and felt a bit more at ease with himself. "Thank you, Master Qui Gonn Jinn."
Anakin looked at his hand. "Yes. I think a new lightsaber is in order. My blue one was when I was a Jedi. My red for a Sith. Yellow. In honor of the sun of the system that allowed me to heal.
