The clerk nodded. "Yes. Spells R Us is just across the street and to the left. They specialize in transformational magic often resulting from not reading the directions. Many of their transformations are also retroactive, so that nobody notices the change that has occurred. I'm afraid that she was going to turn into a real cat but we were able to alter that. The retroactivity was also affected, but nobody here is quite sure about how this will all turn out when the rectro effect kicks in. It may be that only Mister Saotome will ever remember her as something other than the Tendo pet cat."
Kasumi really began to look nervous. "Reading the directions on a candy bar?"
"Well, yes," the Furries 4 U clerk could at least privately admit that this was hardly normal behavior, particularly when the candy had a familiar name. "I take it that you ate a piece of candy that had been left lying around?"
Kasumi nodded.
"Well, what was it? If we know the name, we can figure out what effects will take place." The clerk looked over the girl and decided with her radiating that gentle nature, maybe a dove morph, a cat morph, or... That is, if it were necessary.
