No More Harems: On Running [Episode 94205]

by Kender

Sailor Pluto ran through the park and saw something that made her eyes widen. "dead scream!"

"Kusanagi!" called out a schoolgirl.

From behind her, an amused voice spoke, "What?"

"You're okay!"

"Of course I am Momiji. A wild attack like that is easy to dodge."

"Still, someone like that could mean trouble," commented an older woman with her hair pulled back.

A middle aged man rubbed his chin. "Matsudaira, do you think she could be working for the Aragami?"

"Perhaps..."

"We could always ask them..," a rather nerdy looking man suggested sheepishly, as he pushed up his glasses.

"Who?"

"Them."

The assembled TAC was treated to the sight of a horde of people heading off in the direction of the woman who'd shot at Kusanagi.

"Get her!" one called out.

"You're speaking my language," a redheaded woman in a pink jumpsuit commented as she hefted a grenade launcher.

Kusanagi scowled and ran after them. "It was me she shot at!"

"Hey! Wait for me!" Momiji called out and followed, with the rest of their group right after her.

Priss Asagiri stared at the running figure of the woman who'd appeared out of nowhere and shot of some sort of energy weapon, all the while wishing that she could take off her hardsuit helmet to scratch her head. "What was that?"

"I don't know, but she missed Mackie..," Linna told her.

"Aw... nuts..."

"I know what you mean. And Nene got out of the way by tripping."

"As usual."

"Hey!" piped up the pink hardsuit clad member of the team.

"Heh..."

"Well, you shouldn't be glad that she missed the trailer then."

"Why not? Sylia would have a lot of work to do."

"Because she hit your bike."

"I'LL KILL HER!"

"Looks like we'll have some more help," Mihoshi said happily.

Lina Inverse has a simple way of dealing with crazy women who tried to attack her companions. "FIREBALL!"

Pluto dodged enough so she only had to pat out the edge of her skirt before running.

"Damn! I'll have to try again!"

"We both will Miss Lina!" Amelia agreed, "Attacking our friends for no reason can not be allowed. Even if she didn't hurt Mister Zelgadis and Mister Gourry, she can't be allowed to go unpunished! the path of justice demands it!"

"You know, you might want to try a pose for that," Sailor Venus told her as she came up to her.

"Huh? Really?"

"Yeah!" Moon told her as she stepped over to the darker haired girl, "It'll give it some kick."

"Less babble, more chasing," Ryoko the former space pirate told them.

After running so long, the places had begun to blur together for her. She had no idea of how many places she had gotten to, but she couldn't understand how nothing was going the way that it should. Instead of following her in what she knew was right, everyone else seemed to be unable to see what had to be done. But as she tried to get away, she saw so many different varieties of dangers to the time stream, and when she tried to correct them, she never had the time to check her work.

There were just so many threats to the pure and shining future that she couldn't stop, couldn't rest until she had eliminated them all. She had to do it. Everything depended on her, and she had to succeed.

But as she came into a new world, she stared at the city of Crystal Tokyo as it stood around her.

This wasn't the one that she knew of however. The gleaming towers, clean land, and peaceful atmosphere were perfectly fine, but it wasn't the 'pure' society that she had worked so hard for. Nearby couples sat in intimate embraces, neighbors argued and children played games. All sorts of music echoed all through the area, from classical and folk, to rock and jazz, to something even she couldn't exactly identify. Many different styles were in evidence, in food, dress, vehicles, and tons of other things.

Falling to her knees in a grassy area, she looked up and found that:
