Phoenix Ranma: and with six you get eggroll senshi-fied? [Episode 94243]

by Kestral

Ranma was limned by purple fire as the Time Key Staff Cube tried initially to obey its summons. It should have formed in the hand of Sailor Pluto, except that it had gotten a little mangled and melted during its recent misadventures and cracked in the Paradox Storm prior to that.

The Time Cube exploded and when the blast was done, Ranma was nowhere to be seen.

"That did it?" Sailor Pluto asked. "Of course. It accelerated his atoms to the point where he aged billions of years. He disintegrated. Ranma's dead at last!"

Genma was about to protest when a purple glow flickered and exploded into flames before solidifying once more.

Ranma blinked and tugged at his purple bodysuit. "Well, that was interesting." The bodysuit began to morph into something more like a dougi.

"...no," protested Sailor Pluto in a weak voice.

"Ranma! Stop joking around!" Genma demanded, showing his love and relief by swatting at the boy.

flik went Ranma.

Sailor Pluto and Genma stared at where Ranma had just apparently teleported ten feet away to a building's ledge.

"I gotta new special technique, Oyaji!" boasted Ranma. "I can move sideways through time now. I call it 'Instantaneous Movement'."

"That's my boy," beamed a proud Genma.

"no" protested Pluto. Yet it was obvious now. Ranma had been exposed to so much temporal energy that somehow he'd made it part of himself and survived. He was now roughly the equivelant of a Senshi and no longer a "mere" martial artist.

Genma and Ranma walked off, ignoring the crazy lady in the weird clothes.

"ARRRRRRRRRRGHHHHHHHHHHH!" screamed Sailor Pluto.

"Wow," said Sailor Venus as the images flashed across the surfaces of the Gates. "Can this get cable too?"

"I've managed to track Pluto down, but I think her connection to the timestream is actually causing her to become more unstable - and that connection is stronger in her Pluto form," said Mercury. "The more the timestream changes - the more unstable she gets."

"That would explain her expression," noted Mars.

"The lights are home but nobody's on them," agreed Venus, mangling yet another phrase.

"That boy's gonna be a heartbreaker when he grows up," noted Jupiter. "Or wait - this is in the past, isn't it?"

"I'm still trying to recall Sailor Pluto," said Mercury. "I've got images but nothing else and now there's this second signal."

In the image on the Time Gate, Ranma turned and looked directly out at them with a puzzled expression.
