"What are you doing boy?" Genma asked, scowling down at his son.
"Nothin' really," the younger Saotome replied, "Just lookin' at the pretty girls who were lookin' at me."
"Huh? What girls?"
"Ya can't see 'em?"
"Of course not!"
"Oh, then they must have left," Ranma said simply, "C'mon Pop, let's get goin'. I wanna try out my new technique!"
Staring after his son, the portly martial artist frowned as he tried to figure out if learning this new move had driven his son insane. There were no girls around after all, save that one woman who no doubt had proven too fragile to handle whatever burden she'd been given. But he merely shrugged it off, as it seemed that allowing his son to keep that box had some rather great dividends. It had been his decision that had led to the boy becoming so much better.
Patting himself on the back, he followed the boy, happy that things were going so well.
Rather than follow the cause of all her suffering, Pluto merely sank to her knees and whimpered low in her throat. After all that she had done, after everything that she had been through, and after so much time, things had taken a turn for the bizarre. The boy should have been dead, but he was getting stronger instead. At the same time, she was finding her life falling apart, and she couldn't stop it.
And all this came from trying to put everything back to the right way that they should be.
"Why..? He should be dead, gone, finished, onto the afterlife... But he's gotten power... He's gotten to be stronger... All I wanted was to make Crystal Tokyo perfect, was that so much to ask for? Do I really deserve all this..?"
"I really don't think she wants us to answer that," Mars drawled.
Venus nodded. "She might not like what we've got to say. Imagine going after such a sweet boy..."
"Oh?"
"He did call me pretty after all."
"He called all of us 'pretty'," the Fire Senshi replied.
"Details, details..."
"This is the past, right?" Jupiter commented, "That means that he's got to be a hunk by now."
"Yeah, that's right!"
Mercury looked up from her work. "But you can't go and find out until I get this fixed."
"You know," the long haired blonde muttered, "You don't have to rain on our march like that."
"I suppose... But I've got a signal..."
