As Phantom Lady (human, Psi-Ghost) and Doctor Reglan (human, Ley Line Walker) watched, Afrom (wolfen, Priest) sat in prayer and focussed all his magic into the act of contacting his deity.
A fitful glow began playing over the form of the boy on the bed, brightening to a patch of brightness that flicked over his form. As it passed, the pink of new skin showed. Cracked and discolored skin mended. Wounds closed and inflammed tissues cooled. Bones wove themselves together. Tissue grew in grotesque manner, but slowly filled in to become relatively normal limbs replacing those lost. The empty eye socket filled.
It was, as had been requested, a miracle.
Phantom Lady in particular was fascinated, because the boy was now clearly:
