Slowly Ranma awoke and he jawned. As he opened his eyes he had to blink a few times to get it more focussed. He breathed in deep and briefly wondered how the hell he always got into all this shit. He than had to blink a few more times. The pain, he felt the last time he was awake was gone.
He lifted his right arm to slowly massage his temples, with closed eyes, and swung his legs out of the bed he was laying in. He sighed. So this Splugorth had been successful in getting him back together. Now he just had to see what he looked like now. That woman had said that they got 'creative'.
He slowly opened his eyes and looked at his new right arm and attached arm. He sighed. At least it wasn't too bad. The arm was covered with light bronze colored scales and his hand had four fingers and one thumb, ending in short claws. Ranma was nearly certain that they could do some damage.
He than looked around in the spartan room and spotted a mirror on one of the walls, which was large enough to let him see his whole body. He got of the bed and started to look himself over.
At first the face and head. It was still the same face he was used to, save for the right eye and a small part of skin around the right ear and the ear itself. The eye was of the same color as his other eye, but it had the slit appearance of a reptile, much like the eyes of Herb. His ear also wasn't looking that much different, safe for the fact that it was pointed like that of a vulcan and covered and surrounded with the same light bronze colored scaly skin as his arm. He turned his head a bit and saw that he couldn't really tell where the scaly skin ended and the normal human skin began.
His look traveled down to his bare chest, half of it was covered with the new skin, no surprise there. A bit more down, he noticed the boxers he was wearing and thought that he would look in there later.
Finally his legs. They too, like his new arm, were largely normal, if covered with the same new skin, while his feet were more draconian. They had only four clawed toes, which took over half of his feet length and he had a small claw on each of his heels.
„There go my favorite slippers,“ he muttered. Now he had to go for sandals.
But in the end, he had expected something worse, relaxed a bit and smiled. As he smiled he noticed that his canines were a bit longer than they used to be. A bit more startling were the two unfolding bat like wings on his back. He blinked a few times before feeling one of them. One part of his mind tried to find out how he couldn't have noticed them before and how he could lie on his back with them, while the other part broke out in a silent cheer about being able to fly.
After grinning, he just folded the wings back without really thinking about how to do it. He than turned around and looked over his shoulder to look at the folded wings. He noticed that they didn't really struck out much from his body. He was glad that he still could wear shirts while having them folded like this.
He turned back to face the mirror and took a deep breath.
'Now it's time to face whatever he did there,' he thought.
He closed his eyes and pulled down his boxers. As he opened his eyes again and looked. Than he sighed. Okay he didn't remember being quite that long, but at least it looked normal. Seeing it, his subconsciousness wondered how his kids would look like.
Naturally someone choose this moment to enter the room and Ranma, naturally, turned around without pulling up his boxers.
The, female, person who came in raises an eyebrow.
„Nice size,“ she remarked.
Ranma blinked once than looked down.
„Eeep!“
A bit faster than deemed possible, he had his boxers pulled up and blushed heavily.
„Ah, who are you?“ he asked, slowly cooling down.
She seemed to be examining one wall and was blushing severely. "Uhm, we're allies of Jabberworks and those heroes who helped you escape from the Coalition. We... ah... anyway we were heading towards the Baronies and since Phantom Lady knew us... they thought we could kind of help you out. Especially as we have a cyberdoc on our team who could help you get used to the new parts. I'm
