[Episode 96159] [Episode 96159]Maya smiled broadly, an alien thrill filling her as she gazed down at Nerv's naked and leashed commanders. "Convinced?"
"This is not happening," Fuyutsuki muttered. "It's a... mind control Angel or a dream... that's it, a dream!"
"Fuyutsuki" Gendo's voice was sharp, but there was also a calm strength in it that belied his current... humiliating position. "Snap out of it."
"Don't have to listen; it's just a dirty dream!"
Gendo glanced up at Maya. "Lieutenant Ibuki." Maya started, noting that there was not the slightest hint of lust in his eyes as he gazed at her altered, nude form. "I trust that you can undo this as quickly as you did it?"
Maya struggled for a moment, and managed to wrestle the power inside her back under control. Her wings retracted, her hair shortened to its ordinary length, and her body became... well, not plain, but less perfect. The leash she held vanished back to whatever ether it had emerged from, and all three's clothing returned... though more than a little disheveled.
Gendo rose. Fuyutsuki followed a moment later, a still befuddled look on his face. The Commander glanced to him. "Have your wits returned to you, Fuyutsuki?"
The older man shook its head. "That... that can't have happened. Some sort of hallucinogen..."
Gendo cut him off. "I will tell you one last time, snap out of it. That wasn't that much stranger than some of the Seele rituals."
"I... I guess you're, right." Fuyutsuki said.
"Seele?" Maya asked. The old man had said something about...
"This... wizard's story had just enough half-truths in it to be dangerous," Gendo said. "There is an organization called Seele, and it is trying to start Third Impact. Without their support, Nerv would never have gotten the funding it needed until it was far too late. But, I assure you this, we are not and will never be Seele's pawns. When the last Angel has fallen and we no longer need them, they will be dealt with."
After a moment, Maya nodded. That made sense. "Then, what now?"
Gendo paused a moment. "First... I will forgive you this one display, but you are never to try that with me or Fuyutsuki again."
Maya nodded a second time.
"Good," Gendo said. "Now, then..."
