Ranma chose his character, but it wasn't someone who his contemporaries would name as the character they wanted to be reborn in if they had the choice. Naw, Ranma's taste was definitely OLD SCHOOL! Leiji Matsumoto was his fav, but there were some other interesting possibilities.
