Ritsuko blinked as she heard Melchior's message in her mind, shaking her head a few times to make sure she had indeed heard. Yes, Melchior? Ritsuko replied.
I have something you want to see, Melchior announced. It would be too much to explain like this, so I've sent you a video feed.
Ritsuko blinked as her computer suddenly turned on of its own volition. You're a jack of all trades, aren't you? Ritsuko asked Melchior, a grin on her face.
I try to be, Melchior chirped back. Anyway, I'll be back if I need to show you anything else.
Ritsuko went to her computer and brought up her email. Sure enough, there had been a message from the Magi supercomputers with the heading “Maya Feed.” She opened the email, then the attached video file, looking on intently as Windows Media Player opened up and began playing the video.

Maya blinked a few times as she entered Ritsuko's office, only to find the coffee spill cleaned and the broken glass in the wastebasket. Ritsuko smiled softly as she shut her computer down, looking at Maya with a cute little grin. “Oh hello there, Maya!” The scientist sounded completely oblivious to anything that might be going on around her, gazing at Maya with a jubilant expression. “I just thought I'd go about cleaning the mess myself. Had nothing better to do, you know.”
Maya blinked a few times, then shrugged as she walked up to Ritsuko and pulled a brochure for a fancy French restaurant out of her pants' pocket, handing it to her superior. “I was thinking,” Maya began, “maybe we could go check out this place's grand opening. It'll be a good time. What do you say?”
Ritsuko flipped through the brochure quickly, scanning through the text of it before closing again. “The opening's tomorrow?” she asked.
“Yeah,” Maya confirmed, smiling calmly as she did.
“In that case, sure. I'll come along.” Ritsuko smiled softly and patted her assistant's shoulder, her eyes looking down at the younger girl's warmly.
“Then I'll look forward to it,” Maya said, her voice light and happy as she bowed to the blonde. She turned around and headed out of the office, a smile on her face. Perhaps I won't have to do anything drastic to bring her over to our side, Maya thought hopefully, her eyes shimmering softly. I might even get her to really love me...

Ritsuko nodded to herself and picked up her laptop, having already transferred the video onto it. She looked up at the clock. It was just about the end of the day, and she had a lot on her mind. She tucked her laptop under one arm, her purse over her shoulder as she made her way to the parking lot. She wasn't going to be missed on this slow day, so leaving ten minutes early wouldn't be a bother. Now all that was left was high-tailing it to her place to convert that video to disc so that Misato and the others could see it.
