[Episode 96252] [Episode 96252]Ritsuko sighed as the time passed, trying to keep herself busy any way she could, going back and forth between her office and the Eva cages. An endless barrage of tests and adjustments just seemed meaningless to her at the moment. Why couldn't Melchior be quicker? As she sat in her office chair in contemplation, she felt a tap on her shoulder, causing her to spin around. Maya stood there with her hands behind her back, a cute little smile on her face as she did.
“Hello, Dr. Akagi!” Maya squealed happily, looking every bit the faithful assistant, bringing her hands in front of her to reveal a cup of coffee. “I thought you could use this.”
“Oh, hi Maya,” Ritsuko said softly as she took the cup from the younger girl. “Thanks.” She sighed softly as she took a sip, letting the caffine flow into her before speaking again. “Maya?”
“Yes, doctor?” Maya asked in her normal, perky voice.
“What were you and the Commander talking about just now?” Ritsuko asked bluntly.
“Um...” Maya seemed to pale slightly, looking left and right as if unsure.
“Was it about me?” Ritsuko prodded. “Really, you can tell me. I won't be angry or anything.”
“Nothing!” Maya hastily blurted out, giggling nervously as she did. “He was just asking about some, you know, tests we've been performing here. Nothing serious, I promise!”
Ritsuko narrowed her gaze on the technician, pursing her lips tightly as she did. “And what do spies have to do with our tests?”
Maya bit her lower lip and sighed as she looked into Ritsuko's probing eyes. She looked up and crossed her arms over her chest, as if considering just how to respond. “Promise not to tell anyone?” she asked.
“Of course,” Ritsuko lied, gazing at her assistant intently.
“Okay then,” Maya nodded as she looked back at Ritsuko before her voice went down to a whisper. “I think Misato may be spying on us!”
It was now Ritsuko's turn to go pale. Just what exactly did Maya know!? “What makes you say that!?” Ritsuko struggled to keep her voice down, her hands trembling as she spoke.
“Well,” Maya began, “I saw her walking away from this shop ran by someone who seems to have something against NERV.”
Ritsuko cursed under her breath at Maya's explanation. This isn't good, she thought. This isn't good at all. She nodded slowly, trying to rein in her nerves. “Okay,” she said. “I'll make sure to keep a close eye on her.”
“Great!” Maya chirped as she bowed, her eyes glistening brightly. “I was worried you were with her in her schemes.”
Ritsuko's hands went numb at that remark, the half-empty coffee cup falling to the floor and shattering, coffee spilling from the impact point.
“I'll go get something to clean that up!” Maya said as she turned around and ran off, giving Ritsuko a moment to relax.
Gods, Ritsuko thought. She knows more than I thought. She waited for Melchior's report even more impatiently now, eager to know just what it was that Maya and the Commander talked about last night.

Maya held a cloth towel in one hand as she made her way back to Ritsuko's office, thinking about what she'd just spoken to her about. Did she give up too much information? Perhaps, but it did give Ritsuko an idea of just what sort of trouble she was in. She really didn't want to hurt her beloved doctor, and hoped beyond hope that she would see reason before it was too late.
She suddenly stopped as she saw Sub-Commander Fuyutsuki in the hallway, smiling gently at her. “Ms. Ibuki,” he said coolly, “why the rush?”
“D-Dr. Akagi had herself a rather nasty coffee spill,” Maya replied, bowing deeply as she did. “I just thought I'd get something to clean it!” She showed him the towel to prove her point.
Fuyutsuki's voice lowered to a whisper as he walked up to Maya and brought his face to her ear. “What do you think of her?” she asked. “Do you still believe she's not entirely loyal?”
Maya paused to consider the question, then whispered into his ear. “I think so, yeah. She seemed very nervous when I told her about Misato.”
Fuyutsuki nodded slowly before replying, as if thinking of what move to make. “I see,” he finally whispered. “I'll tell the Commander, and see what he has in mind.”
“No!” Maya's sharp reply came. When Fuyutsuki looked at her quizzically, she whispered into his ear very softly. “I... I think I can use my... Power... To bind her to me, making her ours again.”
Fuyutsuki seemed confused for a moment. “You mean you plan to seduce her?” he asked.
Maya nodded firmly, her eyes focused as she stared into his. “Yeah, you could say that,” she replied, her eyes flashing yellow for a moment as she sent a brief sexual impulse into Fuyutsuki's mind. “Tell the Commander I'm not sure about Ritsuko yet, then meet me when you have some time. I'm... hungry.” She licked her lips to emphasize her hunger, a soft moan escaping her lips as she did.
Fuyutsuki felt his cock immediately spring to life. While he didn't feel the need to fuck Maya that instant, he needed release soon. With that, he nodded and gave her a firm look which gave no indication that his desire was influencing him. “All right then,” he said. “We'll play it your way.”
With that, Fuyutsuki left, no doubt headed for the Commander. Maya smiled softly as she headed for Ritsuko's office again. With any luck, no harm would come to her beloved Dr. Akagi, and Maya would have the woman of her dreams as her very own.
