Genma found himself confronted with an angry son and two angry dragons. The son he could talk rings around and bully into agreement. The dragons were a bit more problematic.
Ranma was happy about one thing though. Now he had TWO friends.
Both dragons were smaller than one might have expected. Minako was four feet long from tip of snout to tip of tail if she stretched out full length. Makoto was the same size. Neither realized that they had instinctively used their innate draconic ability to shapechange simply to adjust their sizes enough to fit into a human home.
"Dragons are neither enemies nor allies of witches," said the voice at the other end of the phone. "While it is true that their bodies can provide parts for many esoteric spells and enchanted items, they can also be powerful allies and familiars to witches."
"With the power of two dragons we could conquer the world!" declared the witch.
"We're already conquering the world," hissed the voice at the end of the other line. "Religious beliefs are increasingly cultish and discredited. Moral belief systems are regularly savaged in the popular press. Punishment for crimes is considered inhumane. Crime, sin, and the evils that humanity turns on itself is increasing daily. With nowhere else to turn, no future to aspire to, and nothing to believe in, the masses turn to drugs and hedonistic behavior. All of which enriches us and soaks our power base. You've missed something far more important than two dragons."
"I did?" asked the witch, surprised. She pondered this before the obvious conclusion was reached. "The boy?"
"It was the boy who called the second dragon by your own report. He likely did the same for the first." The voice on the other end was interrupted by clicking. "I've got a call on the other line. Beryl, I leave this to you. Inve (click click) further. Seek to (click click) the nece (click click) oh fuss and bother. Contact me (click click)."
Beryl put down the phone and smiled an evil smile. If the boy summoned dragons when he was in trouble, then his blood would be quite powerful would it not? She was only a junior high school girl and unable to devote much time to it, but as a member of the Empowered Villainry International League (EVIL) she would accomplish this task!
