A Ring For Ranma: Anchinet Egyptian History. Verson 2.0 [Episode 97415]

by Proteus

Well, if the boy in front of her really was as naive and good as his spirit room had shown, then it would be easy enough to convince him to go along with her plan. That is at least until she got her original body back and the millennium rod along with it, then she could make him go jump off a cliff and watch his body splatter on the rock below. That was the least he deserved after having some weird curse per her into a female's form.

"I'll handle this one," she told Marik before looking back to the boy. "It's actually a story that would take more than one mortal lifetime to explain, but since I don't see any options at this point, I'll give you the abridged version.

"Thousands of years in Ancient Egypt ago an ancient magic was used to summon monsters from the realm of shadows to participate in duels on behalf of the summoners. These duels were then in turn used to settle disputes. But, in time the magic grew out of hand and had to be sealed away."

"Would you get to the point?" Ranma asked after crossing his arms and tapping his foot. After a rather boring day of just walking around the city all day and unsuccessfully trying to find his cousin or enter that tournament they were talking about, -although after he found the 'duels' were with cards the whole thing had a substantial decrees in the interesting department- he was just ready to head back to the card store and get some sleep.

"The point is you dolt, Marik yelled while pointing at the boy. "If your tiny mind hasn't put two and two together by now, the ancient duels they staged back then were exactly like your duel monsters of today!"

"Quiet you idiot. We need his cooperation, so just shut up and let me to the talking," Bakuron muttered in ancient Egyptian before looking back to Ranma and switching back to normal Japanese. "Point is boy, that since the game has been released, so soon will the destructive magic as well."

"And let me guess, you need me to help you fix it, right?" Ranma replied in a deadpan voice before letting out a sigh. How come stupid stuff like this always happened to him on vacation?

"Well... not really Bakuron replied. "Because of recent... set backs, I have been separated from my original body. I simply need you to go and put the ring you're wearing on that body. After that, we'll be done with you."

"That's it?" Ranma asked questionably. That sounded a little too easy for his usual weird activities. After all, where was the catch? "Your body isn't in some trap filled pyramid or something is it? Or has some sort of dragon or something guarding it, does it?"

"No," the spirit replied.

"Okay... I guess I can do that," Ranma agreed. "Although, do you mind if I ask, why do you look exactly like my girl form?"

"JUST SHUT UP AND GO!" Bakuron shouted before she made a motion as if to hit him and caused Ranma to run down the street a little ways... at least until he suddenly came to a screeching halt.

"Well, there's something else I'm wondering then," he said while looking at the ghost. Of course as Bakuron was attached to the ring that Ranma was wearing no real distance exited between them when he ran away from her ghostly strike so she and Marik were more than close enough to hear.

"WHAT?" Bakuron fumed.

"Where exactly is your body anyway?" Ranma asked in confusion.

"I'll tell you in a moment, but first there's something I need you to retrieve for me at the following address," Bakuron said. Her anger at the boy had almost made her forget about her deck.

"Okay, okay, then let's get going I don't have all night you know," Ranma mumbled as the ghost of the female him starting giving directions. With any luck he'd be back home in time for dinner.
