Nabiki just held onto the person that she had grabbed, and closed her eyes after giving her sister a glance. She had seen the fact that the younger girl had the same sort of hopefulness and fear that she did, but neither was going to try anything to jeopordise thier chance to get home. Staying in a world after Third Impact wasn't a choice, no matter how scary the manner of return would be.
Cringing at a massive boom that deafened and nearly had her shaking, she wondered when it would end, and when she would be home.
And then she heard a familiar voice.
"I didn't know that Nabiki was into younger boys like that..."
Wondering what Ranma meant, she opened her eyes and looked around, and saw that she had Shinji in her arms, and held to her bosom. The poor boy's face was mashed into her chest, though he didn't seem to be pulling away or trying to take advantage of the situation. Letting him go, she allowed him to fall back, and saw the weak grin and dazed expression on the boy's face.
"Ya know, I have met some guys who would like ta go out with an older girl..."
"It wasn't that Saotome!" she barked as she twirled about to look at the boy, "I was merely afraid of what was happening, and where we are. It's not like... SAOTOME?!"
"That is my name..," the martial artist replied, nervously tugging at his pigtail as he looked at the genie next to him.
"We're back?! Where are we?! When are we?!"
"This is the dojo, and you've only been gone about a day..."
"Yes!" the middle Tendo declared, and leapt up to hug Ranma in a grip that surprised the martial artist. "YES!"
"Guess she saw how bad it was..," Misato murmured, "Shinji?! Asuka?! PenPen?!"
Upon seeing his human after being awakened by all the noise, the penguin waddled over to her and gave her an annoyed look. Being left behind in a depressing, about-to-be-beer-free environment hadn't been fun.
Akane leaned back, careful not to sit on the two fathers and Asuka as she tried to deal with the fact that she was out of that frightening place and back home, while:
