Tokyo Archmage: Keeping House [Episode 98006]

Stopping himself before he smacked himself on the forehead, Ranma realised that it was going to take a while for him to be able to get to the point where he could call up his 'archmage' memories without having to actively try. Luckily that hadn't been a problem yet, and he was able to come up with most of it already. He'd just have to take the time to allow it to happen, and he'd be okay.

Still, he was glad that he had realised who it was before he'd wound up making some sort of stupid mistake. That would have been rather embarrasing, and he'd rather not deal with that sort of thing. This wasn't supposed to be like his time as a martial artist in Nerima after all, and he'd prefer not to have it become like that.

As he recalled though, it was eerily similar to how he'd gotten a housekeeper in the first place.

He hadn't liked the idea of having a servant, having seen in both lifetimes what could happen with rich people having someone in that sort position. But in according to his memories, this wasn't that sort of situation, or relationship. The person in question had wanted to do the job, and since he had a willing individual, he didn't mind so much.

Besides, 'housekeeper' wasn't quite what the position entailed. A lot of times, archmages were singular people, with great skill and power, but not a lot of time. They needed someone to not only to cook and clean, but to make sure that the meals were eaten, and things were where they should be. These folks gave them company while they were in their towers, which could be for long periods of time, especially as it was their home. It could make the 'housekeeper' a combination of cook, cleaner, companion, and babysitter.

Which he had to admit in his case he needed.
