Thus, it came as some surprise to all when she somersaulted over Azusa and gently redirected Soun’s lunge into Asuka. The pair went down in a tangle of arms, legs and surprise as Soun found himself holding handfuls of attractive young woman that consisted largely of inappropriate parts of her anatomy. Dodging Kodachi’s ribbon seemed almost an afterthought as Yuka to a step to the right and allowed the gymnast to entangle the two on the ground.
“…” remarked Sayuri.
Yuka herself was wondering the same thing. How did I do that?
The ticket gave off a yellow glow, which expanded to envelop Yuri. A woman’s voice came from nowhere, speaking softly but clearly audible.
“The candidate has been chosen and security measures are active. Any attempt to harm the candidate or alter the selection process will be dealt with accordingly.”
By this time Azusa has picked herself up and was staring wide-eyed at the glowing Yuka. With a whispered “Maurice is so pretty!” she lunged at Yuka from behind. Her fingers closed on the ticket and she gave a cry of triumph “MINE!”
The ticket contacted the Citadel and requested permission to activate Security Protocol Level 2.
No sooner has Azusa made contact with the ticket than she became aware that she was making a mistake. Well, to be correct, as soon as she woke up she would realize that she had made a mistake. With several hundred thousand volts coursing through her body it is unlikely she was aware of anything at all.
After several exciting seconds, the display stopped. What hit the ground was a singed and completely unconscious figure skater in desperate need of large quantities of Bactine. A fading arc of electricity ran across her body and into the ground.
The silence was, as they say, deafening.
The woman’s voice spoke again, this time with a noticeable edge. “Security Protocol Level Two: DISCOURAGE has been invoked. Further hostile action is unacceptable.”

Security Protocol Level One: AVOID has failed. Primary is in danger of losing possession. Physical threat rating nominal but potential. Request permission to activate SecLev 2.
