She had a ticket.
It had occured simply by chance, and she had never expected something like this to happen to a girl like her. There had never seemed to be anything special about her, and until recently she had been satisfied with that. After all, everyone that had something 'special' about them that she had known had not exactly stable.
But with the coming of the prince, and all that surrounded it, she, liked other girls of her age group, had seen something wonderful possible for them. Here was a real live member of royalty who was as handsome as any storybook hero, and had the whole magical kingdom thing to boot. Even if the whole 'romantic tale' hadn't appealed to her, the idea of meeting and marrying someone like that did.
And now she had gotten a ticket. Most of her friends had agreed that they would have loved to get one, even if they were reasonably sure that none of them would be lucky to get one. A blonde girl strode up. "I do not think so. Someone like I, Asuka, 'The White Lily' is more worthy of it than either of you."
"Most ominous," went Miyo as she came along.
"You had one and didn't tell me?!" yelled Sayuri as she saw what was in her friend's hand.
"YEAH!" called out a group of Furinkan High girls as they, Kolhotz High students and members of St. Hebereke's gymnastics team showed up.
"eep...," Yuka whimpered.
"I hope that Dad doesn't plan on having us join in on that," Nabiki commented as she and Kasumi observed what was happening.
The elder Tendo daughter nodded absently as she continued to stare at what was happening.
Soun crept in from his hiding place, ready to take his opportunity to make the promise still succeed, while:
