Vegita frowned slightly. "I want to test my strength and begin my new kingdom of Saiyajin. Therefore I will pit my might against that of some country here. If you will point out a country that is largely unhappy with their current ruler - it would save time cowing the populace if they are already being crushed under some dictator's heel."
"Well," said Sailor Mercury, not without reservations. "There is one that was recently in the news..."
It was a ruthless and vicious regime that had taken over the small island nation of Piku-Piku in the Pacific. It was odd perhaps that a tropical paradise should be taken over by a ruthless dictator and passed down for a generation or two, but such was the Pacific after WWII.
News of how Piku-Piku's masses (total pop: 3000) were routinely put through tortures and the population "pruned" in a eugenics program had recently made the news circuit in Japan. Most of the rest of the world ignored it as the pictures weren't that good.
Besides it was just another little socialist dictatorship. They received some support from China, mainly in the form of antiquated aircraft and machinery that would otherwise have been recycled.
Vegita tore through the tanks, aircraft, and soldiers in less than thirty seconds.
In thirty five seconds he had entered the bunker and blown open the hatch.
In forty two seconds the Lord Emperor of Piku-Piku had been thrown in a cell.
Exactly one minute after entering Piku-Piku airspace, with zero casualties so far, Vegita Saotome declared himself the absolute ruler of Piku-Piku and that any resistance to his rule would have the resister literally kicked out of his country.
Total surrender of the country took fifteen minutes.
Twenty minutes into it, an assassin tried to shoot the new ruler.
Two seconds later, there was a smouldering hole where the window had been that had concealed the would-be assassin.
Vegita felt that this was all very odd, but you have to start somewhere. First order of business was:
