"Huh, m-me?" asked Venus.
"You are the one who suggested it," said Vegita. Actually, he realized, this may have been her plan all along. Clever, sneaky - he could use someone like that to take care of the details beneath his notice.
Sailor Venus was of two minds about this. One, she finally had been someone's first choice. On the other hand, it was Vegita. Not tall, not cute. Though admittedly the thought of someone threatening her and having their component atoms blasted nearly to the edge of universe had a certain appeal to it. So, while it was better than nothing, there were definite pluses and minuses about this development.
The conflict left her a bit less enthusiastic than she might otherwise have been.
"Oh dear," said Sailor Moon, noting that Venus seemed to be a bit reluctant and worried.
Vegita waited for some sign of reaction.
"Okay," said Venus after an uncomfortable pause. "But there's some changes I need to make in my life before I can go pubic."
"She means 'go public', meaning to let her relationship be known," hastened Ami, the only one not gasping or falling over at that slip of the tongue.
Vegita recovered quickly. He really didn't see the point here. "Well, in that case, I think I'll:"
