Ranma nodded as he led her away. "I know, but ya know it ain't good ta get involved in that kinda stuff. It'd be best if we just went. 'Sides, Pop's probably gonna be mad 'cause we're so late."
"Oh, okay..."
The four others were so caught up in their arguing that they didn't pay attention to the fact that the pair that was at the center of the disscussion were leaving. Both children didn't really pay much attention to it, and they left the older people to their business. They had better things to do, and didn't want to get into that sort of mess. After all, they knew that this was their chance, and it was better to depart before they got into more trouble.
Unfortunately they didn't get even halfway from the dojo to the front gate when Hotaru's ears twitched and the two of them froze in place.
Which showed to be a good thing, as a shape had launched itself from the roof of the building and landing right where their path would have let them. Once the figure landed, it became obvious that it was a little girl. But unlike most little girls, this one had a pair of cute little ears and tail that marked her as a wolf-girl.
The intrusion stopped the conversations that the elder folk had been having, and they looked to see who the newcomer. Upon seeing what had landed in the yard, they blinked before staring.
"They're coming out of the woodwork!" Kaoru blurted, her eyes widening at the sight.
Giving a little sniff, the wolf-girl pointed at Hotaru and barked, "You, catgirl!"
"Who?" the catgirl asked, pointing to herself, "Me?"
"Yes, you! I challenge you to a fight!"
"Ya wanna fight her?" Ranma asked.
"I do! What do you care about it?!"
"Only that you're doin' it wrong. You're supposed ta tell each other your names. Like she's Hotaru. And who are ya?"
The wolf-girl frowned at him. "I'm:
