There wasn't any flashing of lights or brilliant explosions of color. Just a fading out and then a fading back in. Genma found himself back in a very familiar place.
He blinked as he looked around him, taking note of the fact that his son had come along for the ride. At least he hadn't lost everything... Unconciously his hands tightened on the book that had brought him so much trouble. Now what should he do next? Beside him, Ranma shifted uncomfortably. This hadn't been on the list of regularly scheduled events, and he wanted to know what was going on.
As he turned to question his father, he saw something flash out of the corner of his eye. It was:
