Ranma walked down the street next to his rather hyperactive daughter, who was currently bouncing around him. He cast an appraising eye on her, "You seem full of energy today." He looked up at the sky theatrically, "Maybe it's because it's such a sunny day. I've always heard that wild orchids get a lot of energy from the sun."
"Daddy, I'm not a wild orchid." pouted a slightly embarrassed Ranko.
Ranma picked her up and spun her around, "You'll always be my Wild Orchid. Course, maybe you're so full of energy because we didn't spar this morning." Ranma jumped up on the nearby fence and put Ranko down. "Soooo, we'll play fence tag on the way to the mall. You're it." With that Ranma tapped Ranko on the forehead and vaulted over her to land on the fence behind her. He started jogging backwards as Ranko gave chase. If one or the other fell off they had to either climb or jump back on the fence without walking anywhere.
They were engaged in this game when Ukyo spotted them. "Hey Ranchan. How are you?"
"Got you!" Ranko took advantage of Ranma's slight period of inattention to jump on his back and tumble them both off the fence. Strangely enough, or not so strangely to those who were parents, at no time during their brief fall was Ranko in any danger of hitting the ground. Ranko smiled at Ukyo, "Hi Auntie Ucchan!"
Ukyo smiled back at her, "Hi there. Who's this little cutie Ranchan?"
Ranma straightened up from the semi-kneeling position he had landed in. "This is my daughter Ranko. We were just heading to the mall. In fact, we better get going. We'll see you around Ucchan."
"Sure thing. I was just out ordering some supplies for the restaurant. Drop by sometime." Ukyo waved to them as they left and then started walking away. 'I never knew Ranma had a daugh..urk'
Ukyo froze as what she heard was finally processed. "Da......Da.......Da.......Da" she repeated, her mind stuck in shock.
It took another hour before Konatsu became concerned and went to look for her. "Ukyo-sama! Are you alright?" He waved away the pigeons that had roosted on her. "Oh my, what a mess."
"Da.......Da.........Da.......Da"
