"There's no problem with that," Ranma told the odd girl easily. Even if she had dark skin, pointed ears and white hair, she was a prospective boarder, and he desperately need one of them. "Right this way."
Pirotess nodded, and followed the human boy into the building. She might have been able to go to any world of the Star Elven Empire and find a place to stay, but it wasn't safe to be seen out there at the moment. It was definately better for her health to be on this small world, especially considering how that Detective 1st Class Deedlit was after her. But even that problem wouldn't think to find her in a place like this even if they tracked her to the planet.
So she wasn't about to get too worked up about the situation as she followed the admittedly attractive human into the place. It wasn't the most high class of places even for a world like this one, but it was better than a lot of them. There were four walls, no local vermin crawling around, and definately no authorities going to be peeking around the place.
In that way it was pretty much perfect, and she didn't mind it so far.
"Here we go," he told her, as he stopped and pointed. "This will be your room if you want it."
Peering inside, she found that it bore only simple accomodations, with bare furniture adorning it. But it didn't have any apparent flaws, and did come with meals included. "Looks pretty good for what I want. And I take it that I could decorate it how I want?"
"It's your room. So long as you don't try to remodel it, or start causing trouble, I don't mind whatever you do to make it your own."
"Well, I do get into trouble, but nothing you'll have to worry about. I'll take it."
"Good," he replied, and tried to keep the relief out of his voice. Having the woman take the room meant that he would have that much more in the way of funds.
"So when can I move in."
"As soon as you want to."
"Then I don't see anything that should delay me," she told him and stuck out her hand, "You've got your first boarder."
Shaking the offered hand, he smiled back at her. "Okay then. I hope that you'll enjoy your room."
"I'm sure that I will."
"Then I'll have to let Mahoro know."
"'Mahoro'? Who's that?"
"She's the one that's cooking dinner. If you'll excuse me."
"No problem."
Nodding his thanks, he left her there, and headed for the kitchen while:
