He then noted that Commander Sheridan passed by immediately afterwards and looked pissed. The Commanders face reminded him of people his father made him steal when he was a child....
’A thief!’ was his mental exclamation in answer to the thought. Immediately he turned and ran following the Commander.
Commander Sheridan was running behind the man that stole his comm-link when he lost sight of him in a corner. He then started sprinting faster to get him, then suddenly a Minbari warrior appeared in his path. He then crashed into him and almost made then both fall down.
"Sorry!" was his instant answer to the Minbari but without saying a word, the Warrior took him by his jacket and slammed him against the bulkhead, then after that knee him in the gut and thrown him down the corridor.
He then saw a PPG near him on the ground. Without questioning where it appeared from, he took it immediately, and loaded a charge and then took aim at the Minbari who was walking towards him.
"All right! Now that's enough! Get back!" screamed Sheridan.
The Minbari then tried to speak, but a voice behind him spoke first. "Hey buddy you have a problem with the commander?"
Lavell then turned back to see a grinning Human. Mentally he cursed this apparition, for why trashed all his plans.
'If i can't get the Starkiller out of this station, at least I’m going to beat this idiot’ and with that he answered him.
“Yeah... my problem is... YOU!!" and he thrown a punch with all the strength of a Minbari Warrior behind it.....
....Something what looked to Ranma like one of Akane's punches, but with her sedated and depressed.
It easily explainable then, why Ranma yawned while he catches the punch of the Minbari, something that made the eyes of Lavell open in surprise.
Ranma then replied to Lavell's words.
"Well, it’s my turn." and with that his arm blurred, and the Minbari was slammed into the bulkhead and fell unconscious to the side of Sheridan, who saw this exchange with wide eyes.
'How could this boy have stopped that punch?' was his immediate thought, but then the voice of Ranma snapped him out of his mulling.
"Commander are you ok?"
"What?
"Are you ok, Sir? repeated Ranma, who extended a hand to help him off the ground.
Sheridan then cleaned the dust from his vest and looked to the unconscious Warrior and then back to Ranma.
"Yeah I’m ok. That was a good hit what you did to this guy, son."
"I only was helping Sir"
"And thanks for the help. If you hadn't stopped him, I may be forced to shot him.... and why was this PPG on the ground here?”
Sheridan narrowed his eyes in thought of why someone would want this to happen, but decided to leave that for later.
“Ranma, help me to carry this guy to Security. I want get Garibaldi to interrogate this guy, and after that I’m going to kick this guy out of MY station and back to the hole that he crawled out of morning”
Hours later, Lavell was being questioned by Garibaldi about his attack against Sheridan and the more than strange “appearance” of the PPG in the floor.
“I don’t care what caste or clan you’re from I what to know what you’re doing now on this station….…That was a trap for Sheridan right? Well, sadly for you it didn’t work courtesy of this guy…what was the name of the guy Allen?”
“Ranma, boss” replied Zach Allen, who was his second in command of Security.
“Yeah, Ranma. From what I heard of him, he’s only 19 years old, but kicked your butt. I suppose you will be released for your age…..if a human can beat the crap of a Minbari Warrior it is more than sure that the “warrior” is getting old, right Zach?” said Garibaldi while grinning with irony.
Lavell didn’t say anything but his hands were shaking and his eyes burned with a mix of rage and shame.
“Well that’s all. You will be sent back to Minbar in the first shuttle available and if you ever dare to return here you will be judged by the Earth Alliance tribunals” and with that he exited the room with Zach behind him.
Once the door was finally closed, Lavell took the first thing at hand and throws it at the wall. His breathing was agitated and he was thinking only one thought.
‘I don’t care how, but I swear by Valen for what you have done Ranma you will pay for this insult to the Warrior caste…!
Once Garibaldi was out of the cell the first thing he said was:
“Zach, check the background of this Ranma. If he can so easily beat a Minbari and specially one of the Warrior Caste I MUST get him in the Security Team. I don’t care if you use the normal and abnormal ways to get the information just do it, understood?
“Yes boss” was the automatic answer of Zach.
Outside of the station, Ranma suddenly felt a shiver run down his spine while he was patrolling the Epsilon Eridani system with the other pilots of the Alpha Squadron.
“Pass something Ranma?” questioned Meia Gisborn who was piloting a blue-grey Starfury alongside the one of Ranma what was painted in a grey-red-black theme.
“No, it’s only what I felt it again one of those premonitions that something bad will happen to me. You know, those that I’m feeling all the time”
“Calm down Ranma, it’s only your nerves are a bit jumpy after the incident with the Minbari. Why don’t I invite you to my quarters to eat, you know I have pasta and meat…..”
“That’s a promise?” replied an eagerly Ranma.
“Of course.”
“Then I accept. Now…what were you saying about me showing you the triple corkscrew?”
The conversation changed then to other thing that Ranma had learned to love apart of the food and the Art, and that was the art of space acrobatics.
