Unless one counted the blonde screeching in terror as she tore through the area so quickly that she tossed up leaves in her wake.
knowing what was on her trail, Usagi ran from it, not wanting to have to deal with the possible things that Rei had come up with. While the Fire Senshi could be mean sometimes, she was downright scary at the moment. That was not something that she wanted to face, and so she ran as quickly as she could. The direction was not important so long as it wasn't in her friend's direction.
Unfortunately for her, she wound up falling prey to an obstacle that wasn't created by Arkangel.
Rather, she did something that might have been totally expected of her.
She didn't look where she was going, and tripped over a tree root. That sent her falling to the ground, but her windmilling arms couldn't help her. The earth still wound up breaking her descent, and she groaned in pain for a moment before getting back up to her hands and knees.
Which was when she felt her backside on fire and grabbed her rear as she leapt up into the air and twirled around.
Rei snapped her whip a couple of times and grinned at her Princess. "You don't have anywhere to go meatball-head."
"Come on..," Usagi whimpered as she glanced around to see that she had wound up on the bad side of an embankment for her situation. "Can't we talk about this..?"
"Sorry, but I'm supposed to be pretending to be brainwashed, remember?"
The Princess cringed and said, "What are you going to do..?"
Her friend just held up her weapon and smiled.
You know, this only goes to prove how unprepared you are.
Makoto moved the bag of ice she held to where the throbbing was worst before speaking. "We've never had to deal with this sort of thing before."
That doesn't mean that it couldn't happen.
"Not only that," Doctor Mizuno said, "But you girls wound up in some odd situations."
I don't think they meant for that to happen.
"Yes, but I do think that I should talk to my daughter about what we've seen her do. I never thought she'd go like that."
Ami blushed very hard.
"I said that I was sorry," Haruka said.
Michiru gave her lover a dark look. "And that doesn't change the fact that you used a large stick to hit me."
"How was I supposed to know? All I saw was this big green glop attacking me."
"I was trying to get some help, not be smacked around."
The blonde shrugged and sighed. "Hey, at least we managed to get most of it off of you."
"That still leaves me covered in this stuff."
"Don't worry. Once we get this all over with, we can take a nice... hot bath."
"You promise?" the Water Senshi asked with a small grin.
"Of course, I..."
"What is it?"
"It's getting hard to move," Haruka muttered as she reached out for her partner, "It's almost like..."
"We can't move."
"You too?!"
"Yes," Michiru confirmed. "Everywhere I have this stuff on me, it's like I have rock there. I'm stuck."
"Oh just great! What else can go wrong!"
Just then, a bird landed on the blonde's head and began to eat the bug it had just caught.
"Have I mentioned how much I hate that angel yoma?"
"Yes."
"Well, it bears repeating, endlessly," Haruka growled in frustration while:
