She was suddenly afraid her parents would mention it right off the bat! Then the guy would immediately vanish in a puff of sakura petals or something and it would all turn out to be a dream!
"So, uhm, what are your qualifications? You seem young for a teacher," began her father.
"Ah, yes. Well, I'm a licensed mage, though I'm apparently not teaching magic," said Ranma. "Though I'm also the Heir of my family's martial art style."
"A mage?" asked her mother. "What ranking?"
"Archmage," admitted Ranma. "As you might have noticed, Saint Bishamon's is a school where the students have some exceptional problems. Such as a tendency to be late for class."
"I'm sure she'll show up on time now that it has become a problem," suggested her mother.
Minako nodded very very rapidly. Absolutely she wanted to get there early from now on!
"That's good," said Ranma.
