Setsuna looked at the cats, concentration frowning her face. "By any chance, do you still have the rings?" she asked, a bit uncertain.
"Rings ...? What rin-" spoke Luna, suddenly remembering and smacking her head in embarrassment.
"Of course! How could we forget them!?" seconded Artemis, slapping his forehead.
"Ano, what rings?" asked Makoto. Slight fangs could be seen as she spoke, the only visible sign of her change. Besides the small jade spiders that seemed to walk over her unhindered from time to time, as if keeping watch over her mistress. She absently caressed one as it crawled over her shoulder.
Luna looked at them embarrassed as she began. "You were royalty and as such, sometimes needed to be able to pass discretely without bringing any attention to themselves. Those rings let you keep your ... 'normal' forms but at the same time, make them unremarkable. Like the disguise pens but more specialized."
Minako glared at Artemis, his glowing eyes and sneering fangs making a truly scary sight. "So all this time we had this at our disposal and you conveniently FORGOT?" she ground out.
"Hum ... yeah?" replied the embarrassed catman. Even if the Princess had bound Piron's hatred, he would NOT tempt Minako's temper, specially now. He liked his skin just were it was, thank you very much.
Millennia couldn't resist. She sat on the floor and started laughing her head off.
Meanwhile, Ami listened to the bleeping sound that indicated the Mercury Computer had found an answer to her query. Happily, she turned to Naru, who was cuddling to Umino while both watched the proceedings.
The couple had decided to wait her Princess first handle her family before telling anything else. As natural shapeshifters, besides Naru's illusion abilities as a kitsune, they didn't foresee any problem hiding their Darkstalker nature. Amy happy voice turned their attention back.
"Onee-chan! I found it!" she told them.
"Found what Ami?" Naru asked.
"Your files from the Silver Millennium! It should help you remember any thing you didn't yet and help you realize your Light powers and how to train them!" she replied smiling as she opened the Computer and asked for holo-projection. The little technological marvel glowed a little and in the air above, a screen, about 4 X 2 ft came to life. In it, besides a LOT of information, both mundane and esoteric, a small resume grid could be seen with:
- Lord Aarion of the Moon, Man-at-arms and knight of the royal Moon guard. Princess Serenity older half-brother. Medium-upper level demon fighting and healing powers, Medium level fire control power, Medium-lower level space-warping powers. Enhanced physical abilities and senses (about 5 times Earth norm). Magical armor and weapons (sword (Fate Weaver) and shield (Light's Heart)).
- Lady Velinda of Mercury, knight of the royal Moon guard. Medium-lower level Ice powers, Medium-lower level Light powers, Medium level Lightning and Plant powers. Enhanced physical abilities and senses (about 4 times Earth norm). Magical armor and weapons (bow (Way Finder) and staff (Ice Bender)).
