Easily spotted, easily dealt with.
"You can come out of the shadows, Aino-san. This shouldn't take long."
"Uhm. I don't know what you mean. I'm Sailor V!" said the girl with the bow in her hair.
"Hmmm. I was expecting a shrine maiden outfit or something," confessed Ranma. "Oh well. Ray Of Enfeeblement."
The energy harvester yoma screeched as its own energy was being sucked out of it.
Sailor V got ready to move as the yoma began climbing the building to get at the mortal who'd dared attack it. Unfortunately, she didn't get the chance.
"Lightning Bolt," cast Ranma, pointing two fingers at his target. Blue lightning arced and split the yoma in half.
"Huh?" Sailor V said, having expected her services necessary and finding that the yoma had actually been considered a minor nuisance by her new teacher/fiance.
Ranma reached into a sleeve and pulled out a rolled up sheet of paper. He carefully unrolled it and showed it to the girl. "Excuse me. Can you read one of these?"
"What is it?" Sailor V asked, hoping this wasn't a test.
"Something a few associates of mine came up with," said Ranma. "Each part of it is a different spell, written by a different specialty. Sort of a magical placement test to determine if you have the talent to cast spells."
Sailor V looked over the paper, noting the different symbols of each section and different handwriting.
