"They don't look like they can hear me. I'd better see if can talk to them mentally. I guess if it makes them feel more at ease, I'll use thos names."
'Ruby? Sapphire? Amethyst? Are the three of you all right?'
Yes, Master. We're fine. We're about to start the attack now. We just have one problem.
'And that is?'
We didn't decide on what our icons would be. Without that, we're kind of paralyzed.
'Ruby and Sapphire can use what they look like in their plugsuits as their icons.'
Yes, Master

What about me?
'You'll be wearing a plugsuit as well. Purpule with green highlights and you'll have the nummbering sceme that is on my plugsuit. That way, Ruby and Sapphire will feel more like your sisters.'
Understood, Master. Thank you.
Shinji watched the three monitors show the girls in their plugsuits. Each one was centered upon one of the genies. Shinji leaned forward and touched Misato's image.
"She does look good in that plugsuit."
He turned his gaze to Asuka and sighed heavily. "I'm sorry, Asuka. I know you don't like being a slave. I will try to be the best master I can be for you. The three of you have helped me out. I might not have been able to stand up to my father on my own; but now that I have you three to watch out for...."
Shinji leaned back and smiled, as we watched his genies begin their attack on the MAGI.

In cyberspace, the three genies materialized wearing plugsuits. Ruby and Sapphire were wearing their standard plugsuits. Amethyst was wearing a lavender plugsuit with lime green highlights. Above her breastes in black computer block font was the number '01'. As Amethyst shook her head to clear her thoughts, the other two genies saw the triangular pack on her back had a large, black '1' stenciled on it.
Ruby smirked. "If you were younger, you would look perfect for piloting Unit-01."
Amethyst frowned. "I might do that. We can't let anything bad happen to our Master."
Shaking her head, she changed topics. "I think it's time to crack into the MAGI."
Sapphire tapped the downturned triangle pack that was a part of her plugsuit and thought for a second. The two edges facing the ground lit up with blue light and she started to lift off.
Saphire explained, "In this world our plugsuits give us the ability to fly."
The other two genies nodded and though about flying. The both lifted off the ground and looked torwards the corridor that would eventually lead to the MAGI.
Amethyst said, "Ruby, in front and scan for anything. I'll be slightly behind and to your left. Sapphire will be a bit further behind and to your right. We need you to find any traps or nasty surprises to complete our mission for Master. My position will allow me to fire off code-breakers to break into the MAGI. Sapphire is back further, in case we get infected and she can cleanse us of any viruses we might pick up."
Before, Ruby as the human Asuka Soryu Langley would have protested being ordered about. Now, she just nodded and took her position and did her job. The three genies flew into the corridor, which in the real world was the telephone cord.

Outside a wall that encompased three hexagon shaped fortresses, the genies hovered in the air. They looked at the imposing sight of the cyberspace equivalent of the MAGI and prepared themselves.
"I detect some defenses. My best guess is that they are viruses desgined to overwrite a computer's programming and destroy the storage by some sort of corruption," Ruby said.
Sapphire started glowing blue and stated, "Lure them out, so I can remove the threat."
Amethyst nodded and fired a shot of purpule light from her hands. It struck the wall of the MAGI fortess and blew a hole in it. Small batwinged humanoids came flying out of the hole. Before they had a chance to attack, Sapphire held out both hands and fired off her light. The creatures were derezzed by the attack.
Amethyst asked, "Demons?"
Sapphire shrugged. "Logically it makes sense, since we are fighting Angels."
Ruby said, "We don't have much time. We just set off an alert. I don't detect any more active defenses."
Ruby and Amethyst dove into the MAGI complex and spotted several boxes of floating data.
"What do we grab?" Ruby asked.
Amethyst pointed at some boxes. "Second Impact and Dead Sea Scrolls. Human Completion Project. Evangelion Pilot Credentials. Angel/Human relations What can you detect about them?"
"They are heavily protected by several watchdog layers and require multiple passwords to open."
Amethyst grabbed two of the boxes and said, "Which we'll figure out later. Grab those other two and let's get out of here."
Ruby did so and they quickly left the MAGI fortress behind. They were soon back in their computer box. The genies placed the four boxes on special tables inside an area of the O/S box.
Master, we completed our mission. Unplug us now.
The three genies saw the corridor leading to the MAGI vanish, as Shinji unplugged the phone line in the real world.
Good work, but I think I'd better do the proper computer maintenece before doing that. Sapphire, scan yourself and you sister for any viruses or bugs and remove them.
Yes, Master...................................................................... ............................................................................

DEFRAG yoursleves.
The genies stood at attention as their minds were put under the effects of defrag program. After a few moments the genies shook their heads andstared upwards.
In unison, they sent, "Defragmentation complete, Master."
Ruby stiffened up and faded away,as Shinji unplugged her from the O/S box. A second later, Amethyst did the same and finally Sapphire, leaving behind the four boxes in the firewall scanner of the O/S box.

As the genies came around, Asuka asked, "Master, did you have to have us defrag ourselves?"
Shinji look at Asuka. "Asuka, the three of you are my genies. I'm going to do everything I can to keep the three of you healthy. I know it was strange, but I felt that it was in your best interest that I do so."
Asuka bowed her head and mumbled, "I understand, Master."
Shinji turned his attention to Misato and Rei. "What do you have?"
Rei replied, "It's going to take a bit of time to break into those four files without losing the information. It should be safe to try now, since this box isn't connected."
Asuka timidly asked, "Master, I'd like to make a suggestion."
Shinji shrugged, "Go ahead."
"Could we call the box: Genie Operations Domain?"
"I see no reason not to," Shinji replied.
Misato winced. "That is a bad pun. GOD-box."
Shinji looked at and Asuka and said, "We will call it that. All of you did great work."
"Thank you, Master," the three genies said in unison.
