Artemis was miserable. He'd followed the two at a discrete distance, distrustful of these events.
When the two had vanished it had gotten truly bizarre.
A permanent dimensional gateway?! How much power did this Dark General have at his disposal?!
Artemis went through the gateway after Minako and the mage had and-
-had immediately discovered that it was raining on the other side.
Somewhere in the downpour and the disappearance, he'd lost track of the two and scurried along after them a bit belatedly.
The main tower had no access points he could get at, and he lacked the ability to leap up to the second floor window that looked enticingly ajar. Hearing a girlish giggle from within only furthered the concerns he had about whatever horrors might be happening!
The bath-house and toilet areas proved to be slightly more accessible, but neither gave any answers.
Maybe, drenched as he already was, he could explore the island a bit more. Maybe he could at least take shelter under this tree.
Once there though, he quickly climbed the tree to look in from a different angle on the happenings in the tower. Two yoma were there with Minako! Except they seemed to be watching video tapes. What the heck?
"What do we have here? A fae cat perhaps?"
Artemis slowly looked up and behind him. A woman's form, half protruding from the bark, looked down at him in lazy curiosity.
