Chained World: Ukyo [Episode 111568]

In one world, the Kuonji family had been okonomiyaki chefs since the Disarmament. Trading in their sword and bow for spatulas. To cook and make a living for themselves now that samurai retainers was no longer an option. They dedicated themselves to that end. Eventually a young Ukyo became the fiancee of Ranma Saotome.

In another world, another option became available. Travelling abroad, the Kuonji family became mercenaries out in the world for a few generations. Japan was a closed society for a time, one which didn't let people back in. The Kuonji family went back to Japan during that period, trying to "slip under the wire" and fit in with their acquired wealth. They failed and there were consequences.

As a result of that, Ukyo Kuonji became Ranma's slave when they were kids. It's just that they didn't stay together. There was special schooling that Ukyo had to go through after all. The Kuonji family had, when they returned to Japan, become:
