Chained World Mage: Magister and Ministra [Episode 183123]

by Kestral

Ranma sighed as he followed his father. Idiot father.

The scroll that had transported them had proven that magic worked. Here in this world had been MORE evidence that magic worked. Though mages kept their existence secret for the most part from the Mundanes (he'd heard they called them muddles or bungles or something like that in England) there were exceptions.

So, as soon as Genma had found a way, Ranma had been trained in magic AND martial arts. Ranma would never be a Grand Master of the magical arts, but thanks to the side-effects of their trip had enough magic that he could do some pretty impressive things once he learned how to tap into that.

Man, she couldn't make a level 1 healing potion without large explosions or rising zombies or something resulting.

He wasn't that great at Potions himself, not his primary strength, but at least he never had anything crawling out of his cauldron trying to eat his brain. Steal his lunch, yes, and on one occasion engaged the teacher in a discussion of the nature of life - and one other time going into a song-and-dance routine. Eat anyone or their body parts - never.

Nope. He was a wizard, what they called a Magister Magi in this world where magic was:
