The child was an enigma at a point where she simply should not be. Not only was she pregnant without the normal means occuring, but she was higher in chi production than she could have been even with training. That meant that something else was at work.
Since the girl wasn't fast enough to realize it, a simple wipe had taken a few hairs without her even noticing it. And it was these that Cologne was using to help her in her search. But something such as this meant using the upmost in control, since she did not have a male to compare it to.
Yet, she could still follow the trail as it flowed from Nabiki. It was a powerful one too be sure. A connectio as she had not seen in a long time. Following it was slow and sure but it eventually led to... oh dear.
This could not be true. Because if it was, it would be a heap of trouble. To be connected as this would mean a bond of the highest rank. Just about a wedding of the souls if one would. Such unions were seen as blessed by the Lore of her people and were hel in high regard.
Not a good situation at all. This would dictate a look at the texts she had with her, for this was a delicate situation. She would have to talk with the boy as soon as she could. And plans would have to be made before something untoward happened.
