And now Hikaru Shido was flying his way.
Her approach was quick, but she had little trouble stopping and getting off her broom. She leapt to the ground and looked around before she saw him. "Ranma!"
"Hi Hikaru. Long time no see," he replied, ignoring the odd looks that he was getting from the villagers.
"Too long."
"Yeah, well, I didn't expect ta see you here in China."
"I know, but then again, I didn't expect to come here. But it's real wonderful to be here. I mean, to see a new place... Wow..."
"That's true. So are you doin' the tourist thing?"
"Not really," she admitted, "I'm here because of you."
"You are?"
"Yes. There was someone nearby who let the authorities know what he sense, and when they realised that your dad was getting into trouble... they decided to act."
"So they sent you?"
"Uh-huh. I know you and can handle myself, so the guys in charge figured that I'd be perfect to go where you are."
He frowned at that. "Oh. And what do they want with me?"
