"Sherra," the man said. "Still playing with these insects' feelings?"
Sherra, the blue haired girl, smiled. "Jealousy, envy, dissappointment. Such dark feelings, what a feast. What can I do for you, Lord?"
"We need to talk and this place is not secure."
Sherra shrugged and followed the large man out of the resturaunt. Before she left, she kissed a hankerchief and threw it back into the resturaunt. Ignoring the scuffle that she just caused, Sherra continued following her lord. The two of them entered a stble, and met with a woman who gave off a keen feel. Sherra bowed.
"Beastmaster. I am honored."
Zelas Mettalium inclined her head in acknowledgement. "Greetings Sherra. I know you are having fun with that sword, but something has come up that I feel needs investigating."
Sherra looked at the large man. "Lord Dynast? Why me and not Xellos?"
Dynast frowned. "Because the problem deals with Xellos. Beastmaster will explain."
Beastmaster said, "About an hour ago, Xellos appeared on Wolf Pack Island and said that the Demon Blood Talismans had been stolen from him somehow. He did not feel them taken from him and he isn't even sure when they were taken from him. As to what he was doing, when he noticed them missing? He was busy destroying any copy of the Claire Bible that he could find."
Sherra cocked an eyebrow. "Xellos is far stronger than I am. What do you want from me?"
Beastmaster replied, "True, Xellos is stronger than you. However, he is a bit more obivous than you. You haven't been seen as a Mazoku General since the Dark Resserection War. And even then, you weren't that obvious. I think only one of us or Milgasia of the Gold Dragons could identify you. Normally, I would send Xellos, but I have the feeling that whoever took the Talismans knows what Xellos is."
"Wheras, he or she would not know who I am," Sherra said, completing the train of thought. "Lord Dynast?"
Dynast said, "Find out who took the talismans and how. Don't confront, just report. Beastmaster and Xellos want to take care of this themselves."
Sherra asked, "Where is Xellos now?"
Beastmaster replied, "He's investigating outside the barrier. Something has the Golden Dragons of Vrabazard upset. He's going to find out what and why."
"Vrabazard's followers?" Sherra asked, wrinkling her nose in disgust. "We should have wiped them out with Vrabazard, instead of Ragradia and her followers. Ragradia's followers kept to themselves, even before the war."
Dynast put a hand on his General's shoulder. "That was Hellmaster's idea. It's too late now. At any rate, I'll have Grau take over your duties here. Find out what's going on with those talismans."
Sherra nodded and warped away. Beastmaster stared at the spot that she once stood.
"I am sorry to involve you in this, Lord Dynast."
Dynast waved it off. "Do not worry about that, Lord Beastmaster. Sherra should be able to find out. The cost of her services is the information Xellos digs up on the Golden Dragons."
"Agreed."
The two Dark Lords warped back to their respective strongholds. Wolfpack Island for Beastmaster and the North Pole for Dynast.
