After waking up, Lina stretched nad put on her clothes. She knew that Amelia would want to learn the Blast Bomb on the way to Seyruun. Shaking her head, she picked up Galvayra and stared at it.
'One of them has to go. Dynast, Hellmaster, Beastmaster, or Deep Sea Dolphin. Gaav isn't one that supports the barrier, so he's out.'
Lina sighed. 'I just want to enjoy life, not have the fate of the world on my shoulders. Give me a bandit gang to crush or aincent ruins to plunder over fighting the Dark Lords.'
Walking down the stairs to the common room, Lina thought, 'Why does the world's welfare depend on what I do?'

As the group made their way to Seyruun, Lina outlined the Blast Bomb to Amelia. Amelia's presence mad Lina uncofortable for some reason. Lina could swear their were stars in Amelia's eyes. After finishing the first part of the lesson, Lina shuddered as she walked alongside Gourry.
"Something wrong Lina?"
"something about Amelia bothers me."
"You mean the hero-worshiping?"
Lina growled, as an unpleasent memory surfaced. A time when she traveled with Naga the White Serpent.
"I had forgotten about that," Lina muttered. "That's why Amelia makes me uneasy."
Amelia and Prince Phil had overheard that last bit.
Amelia pouted, as she asked, "Miss Lina, Why do I make you uneasy?"
Lina bit her lower lip, "Your hero-worshipping reminds me of a time when some loon decided to form a cult about me. She tried to elevate me to the Godess of Destruction. She was unsatisfied with the currrent gods and Dark Lords, so she chose to worship me instead."
Amelia blinked several times and reeled back in shock. "What? You have to be kidding."
Lina shook her head. "No. I'm not. It was one of the most embarrassing moments in my entire life. It's not you Amelia, it's..."
Lina trailed off and walked forward. "Forget about it. Let's get to Seyruun."
Prince Phil put a hand on his daughter's shoulder. "Give it time Amelia. Miss Lina did have a reason for saying that."
Gourry shook his head, and followed Lina.
He muttred under his breath. "Worshiped as a goddess? Some people have no taste. It's not important anymore."

Outside the Mazoku Barrier, Xellos warped to a place near the Temple of the Fire Dragon King. He opened his violet eyes and stared at the frantic movements of the Golden Dragons.
"Upset? Lord Beastmaster kind of understated things," Xellos whispered. "Panic, worry, anger, shock. Wow. I didn't think the Golden Dragons could give off that much negative emotion. I could feed off this for the next decade."
Xellos discarded the idea of warping into the temple to eavesdrop. He decided to follow the majority of traffic to get a clue as to what was going on. He soon found himself near another temple that was warded ridiculously.
"With all those wards up, the Golden Dragons are saying that there is something here worth protecting," Xellos muttered. "Or, at least there was."
Xellos frowned as a thought came to him. 'If this is connected to the talismans being taken from me, then something of great importance is going on. I should find out what is or was is this temple first.'
