Homecoming: Unacceptable Solutions [Episode 126643]

by Archangel Bloodraven, Lord of Bloodraven Keep

"The solution is quite simple Ranma." Ku Lohn said with a nasty grin.

"And what would that be, Elder?" Ranma said narrowing his eyes.

"Quite simple. Since you are by our laws married to Xian Pu, any other marriages are null and void." She grinned. "And any children you may have, belong to my great granddaughter."

Ranma narrowed his eyes. "Even though my supposed victory was a fluke because your poorly trained heir couldn't hold on to her weapons?"

Ku Lohn's smile dropped a hair. "Be that as it may," She continued. "These children show great promise. Promise that can only be properly nurtured the Amazon way."

"Are you saying I don't know how to raise my children?" Nabiki growled.

"They are not your children." Ku Lohn said icily. "As I already stated, by our laws, the children are ours."

"Your laws are wrong." Nabiki said, gritting her teeth.

"Child, you know nothing of our laws." Ku Lohn said smugly.

"I know more than you think." Nabiki snarled producing a slim book and slamming it open in front of the aged matriarch. "Amazon law clearly states that if a man promised to an Amazon bride supercedes an unconsummated union with another wife, then the Amazon loses all claim to that man. The law was enacted after a warrior attempted to take a husband in the Chinese Army by force and the resulting siege nearly destroyed the village."

Ku Lohn stared. "How... how did you obtain a book of Amazon tribal law?"

"It doesn't matter." Ranma said tightly. "We came here seeking an honorable, peaceful solution so that we can all get on with our lives. Last chance. What say you?"

"It doesn't matter. With the blood of a godslayer in the tribe we Amazon's will be invincible! Leave the children and go home, Wild Horse. You've lost, and there is no room for a loser in the Amazon's." Ku Lohn gloated.

"Then why have you lasted this long?" Rikku said, as a quiet hum filled the room. "I will die before I let my brother fall into the hands of the Amazons." She murmured as the golden sphere in her hand began to glow.

"What is that thing, child?" Ku Lohn said, eyeing the sphere warily.

"I trust you're familiar with the atomic bombs dropped on this country by the United States so many years ago?" Rikku's eye's had lost the wild excited edge they had held up to this point and most of those present felt an eerie sense of unease claim them.

"Yes," Ku Lohn said nervously. "Terrible weapons of massive power."

"This ball in my hand is an explosive, designed to deliver much more explosive power in a much smaller area."

"Stupid fake girl type Ranma liar! No kill own family!" Xian Pu growled thrashing as her cocoon tightened and the stresses on her bones increased.

Rikku stared at the Amazon as the shell surrounding her began to crush her ribs before shifting Ken over to Nabiki and standing up. "Don't get any bright ideas about knocking this out my hand. It's set itself to my body temperature. If it gets too much hotter or cooler it may explode." She said calmly crossing to the young Amazon and touching a star shaped stud in the middle of the binding cocoon causing it to release and contract back into the sphere it had started as.

"Shampoo challenge stupid fake-"

"Firstly, I have a name. It is not 'fake girl type Ranma'. It's Rikku. Use it. Secondly, you've been in Japan for three years. Why have you made no attempt to learn the language?" Xian Pu snarled and moved herself to attack, but came up short as Rikku fixed her with a venomous glare. "Thirdly, I have never fought for the sake of fighting. Every opponent I've fought, is either dead or crippled to the degree that dead might be better. I have no desire to see which of us is the better warrior, because I am not afraid of the final warrior, the one that will take my life. You are not that warrior. I do not fear death, Xian Pu. I respect it. Can you say the same?"

Xian Pu tried to match Rikku's stare, then backed off, fearing what she saw in those dark crimson spheres. "Go." She mumbled staring at the floor.

"Xian Pu! What are you doing?" Ku Lohn  exploded.

"Go. All of you." Xian Pu never raised her eyes, merely pointed to the door. "Shampoo no stop."

Rikku gathered Kenshiro into her free arm and then moved towards the door, followed closely by her parents. "Sister..."

"Yeah bro?" She asked never taking her eyes off Xian Pu or Ku Lohn.

"'m so tired. Can we go home?"

"Yeah son. We're goin home." Ranma replied before flicking his eyes back to Ku Lohn. "It's over Ku Lohn. Go back to your village."

"This will never be over." She growled fiercely. "Not until you relinquish you children or I relinquish my life. The hunt isn't over Ranma. It's only just begun."
