He chucked to himself as he imagined his plan. He's wait for them to sleep and kill them both. He was not dumb enough to fight an enlightened, a gunslinger, with a sword. Sure the blade was a powerful weapon but he couldn't dodge bullets. He'd take out the girl and if the boy gave him any problems, kill the punk. After all, no one what better than him with a sword.
He grinned and continued stalking them, looking at the setting sun.
Soon, oh so very soon they'd be ripe for the pickings… he'd get her head, gets his money, and get his revenge. He could almost taste it…
Slowly, as the pair set their fire and began to ready their bedrolls, Rusyuna turned to his direction and smiled. "Ahoy! Mister stalker person! Its getting dark and it looks like a cold night! Wouldn't you rather be near the fire where it is warm?"
Gohei gagged and fell out of his hiding place. How the hell had she known?!
The young man next to her sighed. "Rusyuna, he's just another bounty hunter… probably was going to try and kill us in out sleep like some kind of coward…"
"WHO ARE YOU CALLING A COWARD?!" Gohei roared.
"So you were going to try and kill us in our sleep?" Rusyuna asked, "Can't we just solve this peacefully."
Gohei sneered. "Sorry, need the money, so I'm going to have to take your head…"
"How about I give you my smiled instead."
Rusyuna smiled. It was a happy, vibrant smile. The kind that put the soul at ease and could make all a man's worries go away.
"How about I just take your smiling head?"
Rusyuna scowled, and drew her gun, but Yajiro placed his hand on her shoulder.
"You know, its been a while since I've had a good fight. I'll deal with this idiot."
"Okay, Ya-chan…"
"Do you have any idea who you're talking to, boy?" Gohei roared, "I am Gohei Hiruma! You hear that?! Gohei Hiruma!"
"Ah… should I have heard of you before?"
To Gohei that was the last draw. He would not let this twit disrespect him so easily.
With a roar of anger, he charged the young punk, intent on cutting him in two.
Yajiro lazily blocked the blow, and redirected it, sending the swordsman off balance, before giving him a solid kick in the ass, sending him off a conveniently placed cliff.
"They just don't make assassins like they used to…" Yajiro remarked as he watched Gohei tumble into oblivion.
"Do you think we've seen the last of him, Ya-chan?" Rusyuna asked.
"Nah, men like him are roaches. Not even nukes can kill 'em."
