"Call out my attack, 'Fire Soul'," said the girl to Ranma.
"WHY?!" asked Ranma, wildly dodging the monster's attacks.
"You are my summoner, my link to this world. You have to initiate the manuevers until you're a lot better at summoning," said the girl with a hint of impatience.
"Oh," said Ranma. "Fire Soul the monster."
The girl smiled and pointed, shooting flame out to cover the monster. It vanished.
The girl began fading out, turning to Ranma as she did. "The more you summon me, the better you'll be at it. Right now you can only summon me once per day and only for a few minutes. You bear the mark of holy flame on your skin now, my mark."
"So this is like some super secret special manuever?" asked Ranma, trying to fit it into his worldview.
"Close enough," said the girl as she faded completely away.
"Oh," said Ranma. "Cool!"
