With the electrical arcs flying everywhere, Ranma tried to dodge, hit some metal shelving, and was briefly flattened as that shelving collapsed.
The electrical arcing hit a crescendo in one sense, the metal shelving covering Ranma in another, and the chemicals covering shelves and Ranma as well.
Then it was silent for some time in the lab.
When Ranma came to, he estimated six hours had passed. Not that his watch could tell him that as apparently it had slagged during his little "mishap."
Another bad day, and even he could say that this training trip had not been terribly productive.
Ranma staggered over the rubble, avoided the guys in yellow suits with the guns, heading for the sunlight. Waitaminute. Guys in yellow suits? With GUNS?
"Intruder! Stop him!"
Ranma started running. At first he seemed to be going through molasses, then he caught up to speed, then he surpassed it.
"AGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" said Ranma when he realized he was passing cars.
"YAHHHHHHH!" said Ranma as he realized he had just left Tokyo.
"WAHHHHHHH!" said Ranma as he blurred past Yokohama.
"Uh oh," said Ranma as he realized that was Yokohama Harbor.
SPLASHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Ranma made his way slowly back to the shore, soggy and wondering if there wasn't a better way to come to a stop.
"This means something," said Ranma Mizuno as he threw a few punches that seemed to be a bit faster than before.
