"Meep?"
The sight of a panda walking down the street was nothing new to the residents of Nerima; not after the arrival of the Martial Arts Circus Performers two weeks ago. A... fuzzy mouse of some kind, dyed pink, was probably part of a new act.
No, what was impressive were the signs they were holding. It was almost like they were carrying on a conversation with each other. Probably some new attraction... and, at least, there weren't any of the... clowns.
"Grawrth!" (scribble) [Look, boy, after we're done here, I promise that we'll go back to China]
"Meep!" [We'd better... or else!]

Nabiki stared up at the animal standing on her doorstep. Definitely one of those days -- first an engagement of all things, and then the clowns were back with another challenge letter. She muttered a few obscene suggestions under her breath, directed towards her younger sister. Have to mock the clowns, did she? Decided they were being perverted, did she? This'd be the fourth challenger this week -- and they hadn't gotten all the whipped cream cleaned up after that last one.
She did have to admit that a challenge to "whipped cream wrestling" DID sound a bit twisted, so perhaps Akane's response wasn't exactly unexpected. This was the first trained animal though. And it was holding out a little... something. Pink fur, check. Puffball tail, check. Shiny little eyes, check. How... cute.
"It's Akane you want; hold on a moment and I'll get her." She'd let Akane deal with this -- all she wanted now was to go back to sleep before whatever else life had in store for her today.
