There it was, in the ward of Nerima in the prefecture of Furinkan in the city of Tokyo.
One dark fairy tale castle rearing up about three hundred feet, with a glassy outer wall, thorny vines covering darn near everything, and a nine foot long uncute scarlet dragon sending geysers of flame at the newscopters.
Yeah. It was just a little bit noticeable.
Most people though reacted in a typical Japanese/Tokyoite manner. More weirdness. Ignore it and it will go away. Beings intent on freezing the planet and encasing passerby in ice? Shrug and get on with your life. Leave it to the Senshi or whatever.
Others though, responded to the challenge.
Nabiki was a piggy bank.
Kasumi was a teapot.
Genma was a pandahead trophy.
Soun was a carpet.
Akane was a deranged scarlet dragon jealously guarding her captive prince.
Mihoshi was posting flyers explaining the event at various places where suitable girls could be found.
Ranma was asleep, of course, though his astral form was looking this over and he was a little dismayed at how badly it had gone when all he'd tried to do was see if Akane could help him deal with a wish.
Ryouga had been hiding as P-chan when everything hit the fan. He was inside the Tendo house and was considering whether to try and reach Akane or not.
Shampoo declared that she was an Amazon princess and this was right up her alley. She was on her way to do a little dragonbashing and prince rescuing and go straight to the wedding!
Ukyo wasn't a princess, but figured she'd tag along behind Shampoo and rescue her Ranchan at the last moment. Somehow.
Mousse was following Ukyo, mainly because he'd mistaken her for Shampoo.
Kodachi was on her way, as being of samurai lineage meant that she could awaken her fair prince! (cue demented laugh)
A certain Sailor Senshi looked at the flyer, declared that she was a princess, saw the picture of the prince, and immediately ran for the bus station as she was finally going to get a romantic subplot!
The other Senshi picked up the flyer their fellow had discarded and speculated themselves.
A devilhunter listened to her grandmother explain that their family was descended from samurai and therefore noble - but her attention was completely on the hunk poor victim. She had to rescue him right away!
Akane felt a shiver in her tail.
