Setsuna's New Life-Millenium: Shock! The Terrible Truth [Episode 130643]

Akane watched the boy as he exercised.

Hotaru watched the boy as he exercised.

Ranma merely exercised, wearing a tank top and a pair of gym shorts as he whirled his shinnai through another move.

The Haruka unit blocked and counter-attacked.

Ranma might goof off a lot, but he was hardly a couch potato. With the sort of money his family had, his interest in the martial arts was tolerated and he could get the best instructors money could buy.

There was an old saying that 'those who felt that money couldn't buy everything just didn't know where to shop'.

"Oh, I'm sorry, Akane. Did you want to clean in here?"

Akane blinked and realized she was being looked at by both martial artists now. "That's okay. If you want to practice, I can come back."

"Oh, that's right, you're a martial artist yourself," said Ranma, slapping his fist into an upraised palm as a sign of having a sudden burst of insight. "I remember hearing about that. Did you want to spar?"

Akane opened her mouth and closed it again, feeling embarassed and in the spotlight. On the other hand, she did want to see more of this new instructor's style. And perhaps measure herself against Ranma. "Uhm. Well, if it wouldn't be a problem."

"Not at all," said the Millenium Industries heir. "Actually I would like to see your style myself."

It would have shocked Nabiki into speechlessness to know that Tatewaki Kuno, age 17, the Blue Thunder of Furinkan High School was actually correct about something. Not that his scores on tests were particularly awful.

Hikaru Gosunkugi had found a spellbook. An old and battered one perhaps, and one in a language he did not speak at all well and that he was translating with a sometimes wildly inaccurate dictionary. A spellbook nonetheless.

A spell that Gosunkugi thought would turn Kuno into a frog was actually a frog-attracting spell. Instead of a trap that went off when Kuno had disturbed the chalked in runes - it had spread to cover the entire school, albeit haphazardly.

Frogs were still turning up, and in all sorts of odd places. Had anyone known that Gosunkugi's first choice would have been a spell involving roaches, they would have given thanks he'd gone for frogs at the end.

While Tatewaki Kuno searched for Hikaru Gosunkugi, the latter was trying to use that book in his latest plan. If he couldn't defeat Kuno himself, he would cast this spell on Akane (using a hair he'd "helpfully" brushed off her shoulder at one point) that would make her fall in love with him.

Of course, this was Hikaru Gosunkugi, and things were going wrong with the spell. He'd gotten the phrasing right, and the ingredients were correct, but he fumbled and dumped in far too much powdered rhino horn - and that stuff was expensive!

Even worse than that, was that Hikaru didn't realize was:
