Ranma didn't know how he had gotten into this kind of trouble. First, he and his father had stumbled across the Temple that the fruit had came from. It was the first time Ranma had learn the truth about his powers. That it was the fruit that had given his flexible personality. Then his father had gotten the idea that the cure for the fruit had to be at the orchard where the fruit had come from. That had lead them to the forbidden orchard.
'Pop should have known better. Now look at him.' Ranma thought as he saw the human/Panda hybrid that his father had become. 'Why he wants to be called Pandaman, I don't know...' That had lead the Orchard Guide to bring them here. 'Now I'm in this mess.' He thought as he stood on the challenge log. 'Pop just had to eat the prize?'
"Challengers, ready?" asked one of the older women of the village in Japanese. Then she repeated something in Chinese. She held a flag up. Then she dropped it.
'That must mean go,' thought Ranma. The purple-haired Champion came running at him. Her twin maces swinging at him. Ranma just smiled and stood the ground. The Champion slammed her club into Ranma hard. Ranma then started to stretched, like a certain material. The mace thrust forwards before the rubbery body stopped. Then it began to move back. With force. A surprised Champion lost herself as her arm was thrown back, nearly hitting her in the head. Her eyes bugged out as she what had happened.
The Champion spoke something in Chinese, which Ranma didn't hear. He did have a feeling that he had heard it before. Something to do with demons. "Haven't you ever seen a rubber man before?" Ranma asks, smiling at the shock on his opponent's face. This caused the Champion to grow in frustration! Her maces started to come at him in a rapid attack. Only to bounce off of Ranma with every blow.
When she stopped to take her breath, Ranma gave a little laugh. "It's like trying to fight a rubber band. Well, I guess that it's my turn. Her said, as he started his attack. " Rapid Overwhelming Rubber Fist!" His fists rapidly thrusting out at the girl. Then are forced back into their original position, only to be launched back just as fast. It was a rapid exchange of fist and blocking, hundreds of punches bouncing off the blocking Maces.
It took only one miss for the Champion to get hit. Like getting kicked by a horse, she flew back. Only to hit something soft. She turned around and saw that she had hit something flesh coloured. Ranma had thrown his arms out and prevented her from falling off the edge of the log. The Champion looked at him, as she took her footing on the log. "Thought I give you another chance. I'm having fun fighting against a good opponent like you." She looked at Ranma in a strange way for a moment. Then moved into a fighting stance. A hard look in her eyes. She was ready to take this fight to the next level!
