While all this was happening, the Chancellor was currently building his deathtrap to get rid of the reincarnation of King Tenma.
Of course, the fact that the book was named '101 Ways to Murder Someone and Get Away Scot-Free', written by a certain Wile E. Coyote, didn't help too much. In fact, supposing someone ELSE decided to check the trap, itīs a given that said person would either sweatdrop, smack him/herself on the head, or roll their eyes. The whole concept was absurd, actually.
The best way to present said deathtrap, actually, is by taking the pages regarding it from the book. Here ya go:
"1-Put cannons in various areas of the room.
2-Lay the springs under the flooring of the room.
3-Paint the springs (and itīs hiding places) the exact same color as the room. Add a tunnel for better effect.
4-Use the various ropes, wires and cables to tie the anvils and safes far above said room. Make it so that all of them are ultimately connected to a simple rope.
5-Drop the Portable Hole somewhere near the targetīs passage and make sure itīs hidden.
6-Before putting the safes at the needed height, fill them with the explosives. Put some underground too.
7-Connect the shotgun, the six shooter, the seven shooter, the eight shooter, and the pea shooter to the ropes. Make sure they are aimed at the target before pulling the rope.
8-Use the pipes to direct the Rockets.
9-Connect the Martian War Hammer with the wires.
10-Make sure target steps on the Rocket Skates.
11-Attract target with either the carrots, the bird seed, the womanīs wig and clothes, or, in the most desperate case, the bat suit.
12-Take out umbrella and put it over head."
Of course, the chancellor never noticed the warning saying: "CAREFUL! DO NOT TRY TO DO THE 'PLAN TO KILL THE KING YOU STOLE THE THRONE OF' WITH MARTIAL ARTISTS! IF SUCH HAPPENS, EXPECT TO BE USING THE UMBRELLA AS THE ONLY MEANS OF TRANSPORTATION!"
But then again, what were the chances?
